All due love and respect to DP! This album, as good as it is, cannot be the best of its decade. It doesn't even surpass DP's own "Nou retounin" of 79'. Although musical taste is subjective; I can think of a few album of that decade that are far more superior than this one: Tabou Combo (Respect and 8eme sacrement), Skah Sha (Synthese musicale, Dix commandements and Message), Tropicana (Doux tropic), Bossa combo (Accolade and Racines), Freres Dejean( Bouki ac malice), Caribbean Sextet (Forte dose). I love (Pale pale-ou) but I believe the forementioned albums are artiscally, far more superior superior.

I have to agree with Jean. It is almost like hearing those kids today calling T-Vice the greatest haitian band ever. I wanted to add to the seemingly infinite list of great music of that decade, Freres Dejean's best album ever, L'Univers and the Magnum Band's debut album, Experience.

What a @^%%$# decade that was for hatian Compas!!! Holy Cow!!!
